The Titans have traded suspended cornerback Pacman Jones to the Dallas Cowboys. Dallas will send its fourth-round pick in this week's draft to the Titans in exchange for Jones. There are also conditions attached to the trade related to Jones being reinstated by the NFL, and how much he plays for the Cowboys.

Right-hander Mark DiFelice turned in an outstanding outing in his 2008 debut and four Nashville home runs lifted the Sounds to a 13-3 victory over the Albuquerque Isotopes on Tuesday afternoon at Isotopes Park in the finale of a four-game series.

The Tennessee Titans will host the Indianapolis Colts on Monday Night Football on October 27th, in the first home primetime game since 2004. Additionally, Tennessee will make their fifth appearance in a Thanksgiving game in franchise history when they travel to Detroit to take on the Lions on November 27th. The Titans open the season at home against division rival Jacksonville (Sept. 7).

Nashville Predators coach Barry Trotz and his staff received contract extensions after an unexpected fourth straight trip to the playoffs in what began as a shaky season.

Pacman Jones waited approximately seven months - and paid a mysterious figure $15,000 - before telling investigators about an extortion plot that led to the arrest of a suspect in a triple shooting at a Las Vegas strip club, according to a police report released Monday.

Andrew Giobbi's grand slam in the top of the sixth inning highlighted a potent Vanderbilt offensive attack against Belmont as the Commodores defeated the Bruins 10-7 Wednesday night at Greer Stadium.

After completing an aggressive Spring Practice that featured open competition for numerous starting roles, Bobby Johnson's Commodores move to an important offseason conditioning program aimed at preparing the squad for preseason camp this summer.

Quarterback Jonathan Crompton completed 13-of-20 passes for 266 yards, three touchdowns and one interception in leading the White team to a 38-16 romp in the annual spring scrimmage.

The Tennessee baseball team ran its non-conference home winning streak to seven games Tuesday with a 12-4 triumph over Appalachian State at Robert M. Lindsay Field at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. Seven of UT’s runs initially reached base via walk, while another run reached on a hit-by-pitch.

Joe Craddock accounted for four touchdowns and completed 19-of-25 passes for 235 yards to lead the White squad to a 28-7 win against the Blue team in the annual Middle Tennessee Blue-White Spring game in front of 2,512 at Floyd Stadium.

The Lipscomb Bisons offense put up some runs late on Tuesday, but it was not enough as they were defeated by the University of Alabama, 8-4 on Tuesday, April 22nd.

Two RBIs by junior Brandon McCall wasn’t enough to lift the Belmont baseball team as the Bruins dropped their contest against Tennessee Tech, 13-3, at Greer Stadium in Nashville, Tenn. on Tuesday evening.
